Hand Crafted English Tiles

Best described as sophisticated and timeless.

Each tile is handcrafted in our factory by skilled craftsmen from pared back, glossy neutrals to breath-taking patchwork patterns and deep jewel tones in bricks, field tiles and half tiles. This collection features a range of beautifully crafted, hand finished ceramic tiles. Excess clay is carefully trimmed by hand once the tiles emerge from their moulds, before being coated in a glaze (mixed using traditional methods) and fired in the kilns.

A soft colour palette is used: pale creams and off whites, minty greens and even a soft grey combine to offer a soothing but versatile combination of colours. The hues are named for the sleepy English villages which inspired the personality of these tiles.

Gloss tiles are offered, with the soft crazed effect adding texture and depth. Gloss tiles boast a softly reflective surface which, when tilted in the light, will show off the tile base’s softly undulating surface and rustic edges. It’s these small details that make the tiles so special. A choice of chunky and more refined moulding and skirting tiles are also offered.

The charmingly simple tiles are no nonsense – with a beautiful color palette of neutrals alongside more zingy shades. These plain tiles are glazed using the special waterfall technique to ensure excellent coverage and two glazed edges, eliminating the need for a finishing piece (though these do look fabulous when used). The glossy surface shows off the gorgeous glazes at their best, with each tile looking slightly different to the last.

Dazzling shades of ‘Emerald Green’ and ‘Prussian Blue’ give way to vibrant ‘Vermilion’ with moody ‘Grey’ and inky ‘Black’ at the other end of the color spectrum. There is also a large selection of whites, beiges, creams and taupes for those who favor a neutral palette.
